  1. Research Ellis Island and immigration.  
  2. Write an “I Am…” poem from the perspective of an immigrant traveling through Ellis Island. 
  3. Post this poem to the comments below. 
  4. Respond/comment on at least one classmate’s poem.

    I wonder if i will pass the exam

    I worry i wont pass
    I cry because i am alone

    I understand that i may not pass
    I say they will come with me
